About

Nicola Roots

Nicola has loved learning the art of Macrame and she is really enjoying how versatile the art can be. There is always so much more to learn it seems too, which keeps the art both relaxing and interesting.

Nicola has also discovered oil pastel art and more recently, acrylic painting. She hopes that she can provide you with some vibrant coloured designs through this type of art, using eco-friendly log slices and locally sourced shells too.

Nature has always been a huge passion to Nicola so this inspires a lot of her work. The majority of the wall hangings are hung from natural driftwood, which has been sustainably sourced. It is also important to Nicola to always use the highest quality of recycled cotton and eco friendly materials.

It has been a slow process to gradually change over all packaging to ‘plastic free’ but Nicola is very proud to have now achieved this, without lowering any quality to a parcel.

Nicola lives in a sunny, coastal town in the South of England with her daughter and two dogs. They enjoy walking along their local beaches and feel so lucky to have the best of both worlds with having the South Downs so close by too, giving a vast array of inspiration.
